The state of Himachal Pradesh has become most popular place in India  in the recent years as one of the most liked travel & adventure destinations with domestic and foreign tourists . Varied ranges of terrain and climate in far flung areas offer many options to experienced as well as uninitiated adventure sportsmen.


Mountaineering & Trekking Expeditions: Mountain Climbing and Trekking in Himachal Pradesh are popular adventure sports that anyone can enjoy here at best. Mountain ranges in Himachal sitiauted at (4000 m., to 7000 m.) Himachal has best picturesque valleys and snow capped peaks that are a Mountaineer  delight. They are not too high that beginners cannot try their hands at the sports nor too low to leave experts uninspired. Kullu-Manali, Kinnaur, Lahul-Spiti are the best place for mountaineering,  Here are some popular mountains in Himachal to climb on,
(Mt. Reo Purgial (6791M), Mt. Hanumaan Tibba (5932m.), Mt. Dev Tibba ( 6002M.), Mt.Indrasan(6200m.), Mt. Frindship(5289M) ,Mt. Shitidhar (5290M),   Himachal Pradesh offers the most  unspoiled and natural elevated terrain and trekking destinations for Trekking enthusiastic . River Rafting:  River Rafting is a team sport and  one of the high adrenaline adventure activity in outdoors . In  Himachal Pradesh (Kullu- Manali ) provide best Rafting facilities between (shamshi and Aut) on the gushing white water of river Beas streaching over a length of 20 km. offer one of the most refreshing run.  Skiing & Snow Boarding:  
Skiing and Snowboarding is popular winter sports in Himachal Pradesh   Skiing slopes at  Chanshal Pass at a height of 14500 ft.  beckon the skiers from December to March The skislopes in Manali , Narkanda and Chanshal are know as some of best slopes running up to lenght of 3km to 7km.

                                                                                                                                                         
 Para Gliding:  Bir Billing in Distt. Kangra has a vast, panoramic stretch extending upto 150 km for para Gliders. Lovers of  exciting sport of Para-gliding & para-sailing get this heavenly pleasure in the lap of spectacular Dhauladhar visiting upto 4000 m from the Valley.  Mountain Biking : Cycling through the rugged mountain tracks of Himachal Pradesh is on a roll.The growing enthusiasm among Indians for mountain biking has also meant growing business for travel agents and tour operators.The club in Shimla had organised the expedition, considered one of toughest in the world.

                                                                                                                                                   

Bow and Arrow Game- Thoda:  Thoda, the impressive martial art          form of Himachal Pradesh, relies on one's archery prowess, dating back to the days   of the Mahabharata, when bows and arrows were used in the epic battles, between  the Pandavas and the Kauravas, residing in the picturesque valleys of Kullu and  Shimla.

Ice Skating:  Shimla has unique distinction of having an artificially created ice skating rink on the cart road next to Lakkar Bazar Bus stop. Tourists and locals of the all age groups get this facility from December to February. Figure skating hockey on skates and dancing thrill, the participants and provide a feast for the eyes of the visitors.




Himachal Pradesh offers all kind of adventure sports one can think of. The Himalayas, free flowing rivers, lush green forests, clean sky, and an overall challenging environment can lure any one to take adventure activities.

Mahasu Peak- (Kufri) Shimla

Mahasu Peak- A beautiful hill but All in Vain. A Beautiful Hill: Mahasu-Kufri is a beautiful small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is located 15 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.5.
